From a young age, Jalen Fauntleroy was influenced by filmmakers such as John Singleton, Spike Lee, and Martin Scorsese. By cultivating his skills over the years, he put his creativity into his directorial feature debut, CHOICES, and other film projects. Through his music under the name J.C.F. he creates vivid pictures with a distinct flow and clever lyricism. Thus highlighting social issues to encourage unity, love, and self awareness.
